Bought this for a friend to have a hidden PC running full win7: it hides under the TV unit and the TV becomes the monitor; wireless keyboard/trackerpad (Logitech K400) in a powercool 6 box.
The Mobo/processor unit might be low power but you don't really notice it - the PC is used for internet and emails only. The SSD also helps speed.
The mobo is silent and there is not much heat - this is dispersed via the blue heat fins. These are quite tall so check for fit if you are using a small case. I went with the Powercool Q6 and there is JUST enough room for a samsung SSD 2.5" but it would not take a full 3.5" HDD.
Using Kingston 8Gb ram 1066.
Very pleased with build and as usual with ASUS mobos it just works out of the box.
