Review : Nice motherboard for a 2nd PC
I bought this motherboard to rehome an Intel Core2 Quad Q8200 processor that I had liberated from a failed motherboard, which I had replaced with an Intel i5 + motherboard + memory bundle. Currently running 32-bit Vista on it with 4Gb RAM with 2 x 2Gb sticks, using on-board graphics [Vista experience score of 4.0]. Initial fun and games with the Corsair 4Gb DDR3 memory I bought - blue screens of death trying to transport/install Vista even though Memtest worked OK. The MS Knowledgebase recommends trying the install of Vista 32-bit with 2Gb RAM if 4 Gb fails.

Having gone through this I would recommend 1) use memory from the validated list in the manual, 2) if you are loading a 32-bit operating system, buy 2 x 2Gb sticks of memory. I went to the Crucial UK Website which recongnised this motherboard and suggests a list of guaranteed compatible memory options. I got 2x CT25664BA1067 2GB, 240-pin DIMM at
