Review : Caused XP havoc
All was good after I installed the card, the sound was surprisingly good for the price and I left at that.
After a few days I noticed XP was taking an age to load up and when it eventually did, there would be no sound.
I tried the card on another XP machine and after a few days again, same problem, slow start up, no sound.
I used the drivers from the disc at first then after the problems started thought I try compatible Creative drivers as the chip on the card is actually by Creative, not VIA.
Apparently this card is a variant of Sound Blaster Live! 5.1 according to the Creative website.

But no, the little sod still didn't work and was returned for a refund.
