I always build my home desktop PC and I chose this motherboard for a more up-to-date hardware with reasonable CPU power. My last motherboard was also Gigabyte (model GA-EP35-DS4, rev. 2.1) which served me nearly five years with ultimate reliability. Nothing wrong with my old motherboard but like any hardware system, features evolve and there comes a time when only the latest motherboards support new features and requirements.
