Review : Giving Credit where credit is due
I bought this CPU for a little media centre build. To be honest this is really good. I'm not using it for media editing like photo shop etc video conversion. I have put it together with the H77n-wifi, 8gb Corsair vengeance, 650w evo labs silent PSU (overkill but for the great price of it as its modular I am not complaining) 120GB sanddisk extreme SSD (I know this helps with the speed). Choose the Micro ATX Fractal core 1000, simply as I want to add some drives for movies, Purchased the Elgato free sat a while ago and now utilising the HD4000 graphics which have not struggled in the slightest.

After building my main PC last year with the i5 2500k I am pleasantly surprised at the performance of the i3 3225 IvyBridge. Using the stock cooler watching HD movies and TV my temps are around the 40 degrees mark and haven't gone above that. GeekBench score 32bit try out mode is 7631. More than pleased with it.
