I already had 8GB of the same type of memory in my PC and just want to get the maximum amunt of memory for my PC. My PC have an ASUS M4A78LT-M with a Phemon II X4 955BE @3.5GHz. Installation (always following the usual electrical precutions) easy as just snap it to the available memory sockets and turn the PC again, getting into the BIOS setup first to check the new available amount of memory 16GB. The PC booted as always, no much feeling of any boot improvement (and didn't expect it either), around 14-17 seconds to boot Win7 Ultimate x64. Additional testing opening several applications with no lag detected so far, I do not use my PC for gaming but I have Street Fighter 4 that performed AA with almost all efects activated with my humble Radeon HD4650 1GB (overclocked), multimedia (audio/video/stream) performed great and very fast with several playback applications.
