I bought this soundcard as a good value Soundblaster...False economy!

The Card installed easily, as did the software from CD. Unfortunately, the software and drivers on the CD were written for Vista and are not compatible with Windows 7. Soundfont Manager failed to initialise, and the flexiJack input failed to recognise a microphone plugged into it, even when told to expect one...Creative Labs finally admitted that the Soundfonts are not supported in Windows 7 and are not going to be.

Having used Sound Blaster cards since 1988, I am very disappointed with this card and the Company and will never buy a product of theirs again.

Amazon please note that this card is only partially compatible with Windows 7.
