I have several WD My Passport 1TB drives, and currently carry them when necessary in Case Logic cases, which work quite well.Black Case Logic QHDC-101 Hard Drive Case

When I saw this item here I thought it looked ideal to give my drives even more protection, particularly when i am travelling. I decided to order just one to check the suitability etc before ordering more.
It is a really high quality case, and fits the drive perfectly, and clearly will give great protection.

HOWEVER: I did not realise when I ordered initially, but there is no space or provision in the case to carry the short USB 3.0 cable that comes with the the My Passport drive, so that cable must be carried separately. I contacted WD Technical Support to be certain that I was not missing something, and they confirmed that the cable cannot be...
