Review : A must have for your WD Passport
Ive got 2 WD Passports, one I leave in my flat, the other I carry around with me in my laptop bag so I wanted a case that would protect the HDD in case I god forbid dropped it or my bag.
This is of great construction and isn't too bulky which is surprising! The drive fits perfectly inside (it comes with an extra 2 rubber inserts if required) and there is a handy cut out in the bottom of the case meaning you can plug in the drive to your computer without opening the case. Once the lid is closed, there's a heavy duty clip on the side to "lock" the case shut.
On the top of the case is a small anchor point for you to clip a carribeaner on should you wish. The case is also advertised as being showerproof, although why you would want to use it in the rain is beyond me, but maybe people like Architects might find this aspect useful!
One negative is you can't fit the USB cable in the case as well, but this might affect how the shock is absorbed throughout the case if god...
